Course Information

Art in China + is a survey class focusing on contemporary art from 1976-2016 – an introduction to contemporary Chinese visual arts, studying a wide variety of artists to help understand the styles and intentions of the artists, context, and relationship to history.  No prerequisites or textbook, all readings, films, lectures, and other content are supplied on Blackboard. For students on or off campus, use as art history or academic credits.
